National American Indian Housing Council Names Hobbs Straus Partner Edmund Clay Goodman as its First “Lawyer of the Year”

We are pleased to announce that the National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) has named Hobbs Straus partner Edmund Clay Goodman as its first “Lawyer of the Year.” NAIHC is a national organization that advocates on behalf of Indian tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities. NAIHC has 271 members representing 463 tribes and housing organizations across the United States. NAIHC created the Lawyer of the Year Award “to acknowledge the important contributions made by the legal profession in the field of tribal housing.” This honor, which was based on input from the NAIHC membership, was announced at NAIHC’s annual Legal Symposium on December 7, 2011.
